Hi, my name is Ziggy! If you like short walks, long naps, and lots of peanut butter, then I am your man! I’m not a young buck (I’m 13 years old), but I still have plenty of life in me and I’m darn healthy.I’m purty spunky for about three minutes at a time, and then I love to lie down and take a loooong nap. I’m a bit hard of hearin’, and sometimes my foster mom has to clap her hands to get my attention. But that’s OK; I love to be near my person.

I have it made here at my foster home, what with the peanut butter and all, and mom says it’ll be hard to send me to live with someone else. The only thing I don’t have is a pillow to lay my head on, which is my preference. My foster mom, god bless ‘er, she wants my old bones to jump up in the bed with ‘er. She thinks all dogs should sleep in the bed with ‘er, and I think she’s a bit on the crazy side fer it. I prefer to curl up on the couch with a blanket and sleep without being pestered none. I’m just set in my ways is all.

I’m really great in the house and don’t even have to be crated. I get along with other dogs, and even cats. I’m a pretty darn good dog if I do say so myself. But, hey, if I haven’t earned a little bragging at 13 years old, then there ain’t no justice in this world.
