Jazz is a sweet, beautiful boy! He’s come a long way very fast! Everything is a new experience and can still be a little scary, but he’s gotten very comfortable with us, our two dogs, and our home. He’s quickly picking up how to be an indoor dog! Potty training, crate training, and learning what are appropriate toys are all things he’s gotten the hang of in just a few weeks. He’s also learning basic commands and leash manners. His personality is really starting to shine! He’s been a great companion on the hiking trails, as well as getting the hang of being a running partner! More than anything, this velvety soft boy would love to be a lap dog! He loves to snuggle. He’s slowly learning that new people and dogs aren’t going to hurt him, we’re working on lots of socialization but trust isn’t something he gives to everybody right away. He would do best in a home with other dogs. He does demonstrate prey drive for squirrels.  He wants to chase the stray cats in our neighborhood but we still have to assess his behavior with them indoors.
