Knox is a 2.5 year old black and white male GSP living in North Atlanta, GA. His owners hate to rehome him, but due to work and travel they can no longer give Knox the life he deserves. They have had Knox for two years and have given him a great life and a lot of love and are now looking for a new family for their boy.

A few things you should know about Knox:

He is a typical GSP in that he has lots of energy and needs to run daily. He loves fetching the ball, it’s probably his favorite thing to do other than cuddle up
with his people on the couch. He absolutely loves attention and is the typical GSP velcro-dog! He would be a great family dog, is socialized with humans and other
dogs, and is even good with cats. If you have very small children, though, he might be too big and energetic for them and could knock them over. He is fine with loud noises and does great traveling in the car.

Knox weighs ~55 lb and has been on a prescription diet since Dec 2016 (Royal Canin SO) after he was diagnosed with struvite crystals in his urine. This food makes him extra thirsty so he has to go outside frequently.

Knox would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and doggie door if no one is home to let him out frequently during the day. But, ideally, Knox would have a work-from home parent. He would also do best in a home with at least one other dog since he loves company and playtime.

If you are interested in learning more about Knox, please submit an adoption application, if you haven’t already and contact Namrita his rescue liason at 404-394-9714.

The Southeast GSP Rescue adoption fee is $375 for adult dogs, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, spaying/neutering, microchip, heartworm testing and testing for internal parasites.
