Dusty ~ Female | Back
Dusty Dusty

Dusty is about 6 years old, but is still full of life and personality.  She is friendly with other dogs and wonderful with children of all ages.  She is housetrained and has learned basic obedience.  Dusty loves to relax, go for a romp in the park, or just be with her human companions.  She has an amazing personality and would make a wonderful addition to your family.  She is up to date on her shots, neutered and heartworm negative.

If you are interested in adopting Dusty, please fill out an application to adopt at www.gsprescue.org and email Beth at hvnk9fun@earthlink.net.

Marty ~ Male ~ Young Adult | Back

Marty is small for a male, will be about 55 pounds when mature. He’s a sweet boy, found as a stray.  He is up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and crate trained. He will need work on house training and other good doggie manners, just as any puppy would. Marty needs to go to a home without cats. He has shown aggression to cats, and his high prey drive would make him unable to coexist peacefully with them. He loves to play with toys and fetch. Marty is a very active dog, and will need to go to a household where he will get a lot of exercise.

Hershey ~ Female ~ 6 Years | Back

Hershey is a 6 yr old female, spayed, who lost her home when her owner became too ill to keep her. No one in the family was able to take her, so she came to rescue. She has not been “out much”, and is timid when she experiences new people or surroundings, but has a delightful personality once she feels comfortable. She’s used to going on leash walks and also likes to fetch. She gets along well with other dogs if they are not threatening (she is afraid of new dogs, too).  She has not been “cat tested”.  She’s housetrained, crate trained and used to having someone home most of the time, though she’s done well being fostered where she spends a lot of time alone. She is not destructive at all. Hershey has never been around children and needs to go to an adult-only home. Hershey needs to go to a home where the routine stays pretty constant, and she will need time to adjust to new people and surroundings.
