Katie | Back

Katie is a sweet lady, about 7-10 yrs old.  If you want a perfect companion, she is it.  She is house trained, crate trained (I never crate her because there is no need) and perfectly obedient.  She sits and comes on command, knows “no” and “leave it” and when she first came here, she offered to shake hands.  She doesn’t walk in front of people and trip them up and she doesn’t get on furniture.  She does require a soft, warm bed and loves tennis balls.  She also likes to have her head and the side of her face stroked softly.   You can tell by the expression on her face how much she enjoys it.

Katie gets along well with other dogs and cats but is very interested in ducks and birds!

Katie is heartworm negative, on preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed. She has a touch of arthritis which is managed with medication.  Katie would do best in a more sedate home.

If you think that you and your family can provide a great home for this lovely girl, please fill out an application to adopt at www.gsprescue.org or email CHRIS for more information!

RescueJoJo - Courtesy Listing | Back

He was owner surrendered to Wiliamson County Animal Control, where one of the employees took him home so he wouldn't be killed, then less than a year later she got divorced and I stepped in to take him.

JoJo is extremely loving. Loves kids, would like nothing more than to lay in bed with you all day. He gets along great with other dogs, and keeps the ones that misbehave in line. He is crate & house trained. His only downfall is his age and his bad knees. He walks like a bowlegged cowboy. He is an amazing dog.

JoJo loves people- ALL PEOPLE and craves human attention. He is terrified of thunderstorms, fireworks and anything that goes BOOM.

Jo loves the water. He loves swimming in the pond behind my house and I have a very hard time getting him to come out of it. He will be 8 this fall. Jo had rickets as baby and walks like he has been on a horse all day long- very bowlegged in the back. He takes glucosamine everyday.

I would love to find him a retirement home, preferably one with room for him on a rug by the fire. JoJo is located in the Nashville area. If you are interested in adopting JoJo, please email ROBYN
