We are thrilled to share that the Aistrop family has officially made it forever -  they’ve decided to adopt their foster dog, Ruger!

In their words, “we just couldn’t put him through going to another home.” After nursing him back to health and watching him grow into the incredible dog he is today, the bond became undeniable. Ruger has proven himself to be “the best GSP” — well-mannered, fully house trained, loving the outdoors, and with a personality that has completely won over the entire family.”


Even more special, his best friend, SEGSP Alum, Remi (the white GSP) has been by his side every step of the way and the two are truly inseparable. It’s clear they were meant to stay together.


Stories like this are why fostering matters. Sometimes, “temporary” turns into forever and it’s the best kind of ending.
