Ruger has gone to his new home with Alli and Cole . He has come a long way since being dumped next to a shelter! They live right across from a huge park with lots of trails and Cole works from home often. His new family is getting lots of snuggles and love. Yay! Nice choice Ruger! #adopted #parkplease #segsprescue

Matcha is adopted!! From Dad, Nathan, “Matcha is doing great and adjusting to life with our other dogs, including two other GSPs! Of all the wonderful dogs we have fostered over the last ten years with SEGSP and ABR, Matcha was the one who I knew would have to stay! He’s playful and sweet, loves attention and pointing at birds of all kinds. We’re looking forward to adventures ahead!” We love a happy beginning! Congratulations to all. #adopted #pointer #segsprescue
Archer was transported from the shelter and fostered by, Melissa & John. They did an amazing job and got Archer all ready for his forever home. He was recently adopted by the Hughes Family. “He’s doing great! Our kids love him and he’s a very smart little guy." Yay Archer! #success #adopted #segsprescue
Jax Has Found His Forever Home! Meet Jax, a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who is the undisputed champion of snuggles, zoomies, and food enthusiasm. If there were an Olympic event for sticking to his humans like Velcro, Jax would take home the gold every time. His passions include wrestling with his Labrador sister, Zoey, and ensuring no crumb goes uneaten—he’s basically the canine version of a vacuum cleaner. Jax fit in so perfectly with his foster family, the Pinkes, that they couldn’t bear to let him go. That’s right—they’re officially “foster failing” and keeping him forever! Congrats, Jax, on living your best life! #FosterFail #ForeverHome #VelcroDogChampion #AdoptionSuccess #segsprescue
After a long search, Max (the one in MS) has been adopted by the French family! We are so very grateful to his foster mom Kellie, who has cared for him since July of last year and calls Max a gentle soul. Max came to SEGSP as a stray and can only imagine what his past life was like, but we know for certain he is going to have a wonderful future and will be very loved.
Congrats everyone! ack, now Woody, has found his forever home, right where he was with his foster, now forever home! Woody came to rescue last August after being in a shelter for over 3 months with heartworms. We are so thankful that the Wright family stepped up to foster him, and we are overjoyed that they fell in love and adopted him. Congratulations Woody and the entire Wright family!
We end the week with a brand new alum for Sunday Alum Day! From the Somers family, “We renamed Novi to Jovi and she is really settling in well here. She has grown a few inches and gained a few pounds (lots of muscle from running around the big yard). We also hired a trainer and we start obedience lessons this weekend.” Jovi is fitting in great and we are excited to follow her journey. Happy adoption!
Camp has found his forever home! Thank you so much to Camp’s foster parents, Anna and Jason, and congratulations to Camp’s forever parents, Clarissa and Jack (and his new sister Lucy)!
Hans was adopted a few weeks ago & we just got a report! “Here are a couple of pictures from today. We have had a ball playing, practicing commands, and checking out the cats. He is so adorable, and he is passed out under my desk while I write this email. We have named him River, and think that name suits him perfectly for all of his adventures ahead! Again, we are so grateful to SEGSP and to the Evans family for fostering.” Looks like River is doing fantastic!
