Jax had his BIG day today – it’s his adoption day!
A huge congratulations to the Smith family and Jax on finding his forever home, and to his new canine buddy, Charlie! A heartfelt thank you to Paden for all the love and care you’ve given Jax over the past six months and for helping him get healthy and ready for this happy new chapter. It’s foster fail Friday!
It’s final! Ranger has made his decision and he’s staying with his foster family. He came to rescue last year after being booted from the only home he knew because they had a baby and couldn’t handle Ranger’s energy. He was heartworm positive and his foster family helped him go through four months of heartworm treatment (very difficult with a 1 yo GSP) and showed him unconditional love. He also went through some basic training which helped them bond even more. Congratulations to Ranger and the Holder family! Great news to start the week... Jay’s journey to his forever home has been full of challenges—and triumphs. After arriving to rescue from a shelter and being diagnosed with parvo, there were some scary moments early on. But thanks to amazing vet care and a whole lot of love, Jay pulled through and hasn’t stopped thriving since.
We’re overjoyed to share that Jay has officially been adopted by the Harper family! He’s already settled right in and is loving life with his new four-legged siblings. His new family shared: “Jay is a wonderful dog. He has blended right in with the pack here at our home. What he lacks in size (compared to most GSPs) he makes up for in personality and energy. He has jumped right into our daily routine of walks and playtime in the backyard and even made a couple new friends with our neighbors’ dogs. Jay is a great addition to our family.” A heartfelt thank you to the entire Gilbert family, who fostered Jay through it all. They nursed him back to health, gave him the time and care he needed to flourish, and ultimately chose the perfect forever home. We’re so grateful for your dedication. Congratulations, Jay—you’re finally home, and your future is bright. We have great news… Molly has found her forever home. Another successful foster fail!
Her mom said, “We are excited to announce the pack has asked Molly to stay with us and she has agreed!!! Molly now as 3 sisters and a mom and dad who love her to death! It’s been amazing to watch the transformation Molly has made since she arrived! She has adapted so well to being inside, having all the toys and bones she could possibly want and a backyard with lots of critters to hunt. She is a big snuggle bug and immediately took to her dad following him everywhere he goes. She and her siblings became good buddies immediately and enjoy terrorizing the backyard together. There will be no squirrels in her yard! Molly is a calm GSP that loves everyone she meets. She is the perfect addition to our family. Molly’s surgery went well and all of the tumors we’re benign. The hardest part was trying to keep her calm for two weeks. We got in a LOT of miles walking together during those 2 weeks.” Congratulations to Molly and the DeRocher family! |
