Mallard

Mallard, the handsome GSP, arrived needing a little patience, and he found it with a human who knows a thing or two about commitment to the field—literally! His new dad is a professional ornithologist (a bird scientist!), which we think is the absolute best, most ironic fit for a dog named after a species of duck! 

It was clear from day one that Mallard had found his forever flock. He is now thriving in his new life as a full-time field assistant, tackling new habitats and hiking trails. As you can see from these gorgeous mountain camping photos, He is the happiest, fluffiest adventure companion we could have imagined.

Congratulations to Mallard and his dedicated human! This is what it’s all about.
