Remi

Remi (TN) has a very special announcement!   She is HOME, right with her foster family, now her forever family.  That’s right, she loves them all so much she couldn’t bear to leave and they agreed wholeheartedly!

Her mom and dad, Melanie and Jamie said, “When we first met Remi for transport she was skin and bones and exhausted. She knew so little of the world that she was in wonder about everything. She had never even been on stairs! It has taken a few months but now she is healthy and thriving! Her personality is coming out more and more each day. She is a big snuggler and loves to groan when she feels she is not getting enough attention (so she is very groan-y). She is very handsy with her paws and loves to be touching you at all times. One of her nicknames is noodle because she will noodle her way into any space in order to get to you.

Now that she knows all about soft beds, you will usually find he on the sunshine bed snuggling with her sister, SEGSP alum Maggie. Maggie is blind, so it takes her a while to warm up, but Remi has been incredibly patient as they have gotten to know each other. Now Maggie allows her to clean her ears and snuggle with her. It has been very special to watch their relationship develop. She and her big brother Winston look for squirrels together making sure to keep the backyard “safe” from invasion.

A big shout out to Tylor the GSP saint that saved Remi from a life of misery or worse. He checks on her every week! Also to Sarah & Jason for temp fostering Remi and loving her just as much as we do. We were talking the other day about how special our girl was and that she went from no family at all to several that love her dearly.”

Remi, you are so very loved and it’s clear you’re exactly where you belong.  Thank you to Melanie and Jamie for your patience with her and for giving her such an amazing home.  We can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and thrive!
