Rip

Rip has found his forever home, and he has a SEGSP Alum, Luke, to show him the ropes.  We know Rip is super sweet, smart and has the right amount of GSP energy… and of course he loves to cuddle and be near his humans.  We’ve learned his new favorite thing to do is run the backyard perimeter fence chasing those pesky birds.


His new dad said, “Day one with Rip could have not gone better. He’s been pretty chill given all the changes. He was good on the ride home and first outing with him to Pets Plus, where he was the perfect gentleman. He loves to run in our backyard and chase birds (as well as mark his territory!). He didn’t eat much yesterday, so we hope his appetite comes back today. In addition to a couple walks, lots of kiss and snuggling with us, Rip had a great first day. We set up his crate in our bedroom, which he settled down and went into pretty easy last night. I left the door open. He did get up around 1:30am, so I put his out and then put him back in the crate and shut the door. He only cried for about 2-3 minutes and then back to sleep. He is laying in his dog bed next to me right now waiting for the sprinklers to stop in the backyard!”
