Lizzie

11/29/2024

Laura in TN is a very dedicated foster for SEGSP Rescue. And she has big news to share about Lizzie (now Amelia)! “I’ve fostered so many angels and decided it was the right time to adopt her into my life. I will try to be worthy of her love. She is incredible. Her cat brother floki loves her to pieces, as do I. She is sassy and smart and I look forward to our adventure together. I love her so much.” We are so happy about this foster fail. Congratulations to all!

Remi

11/29/2024

Remi in Tennessee has made her selection for her forever family, with new dad, Matt. After day one, he said, “She is awesome. We’ve been running out back and she likes to swim. She’s getting comfortable here. We just need a little work on the leash.” Sounds like you are in great hands, Remi. We are so happy for you and for Matt. We couldn’t be more grateful for the Moon family for fostering Remi, making it possible for her to find her forever home.

Dexter

11/29/2024

Dexter had found his forever home with the Kerabin family. They are over the moon about him and their 2-1/2 year old Maizen, is too. He is on the left in this pic and Dexter is on the right. They said, “we drove nine hours to Tennessee to pick him up. Nine hours back today to North Carolina. This is them at the end of the evening together after day one.” Dexter is going to be one loved boy and we couldn’t be happier for him. Thank you to his foster family, the Barkers, for patiently waiting to find his perfect forever family and for fostering him.

Frannie

11/29/2024

Frannie was also adopted over the weekend. Once we get a good candid, I will share it with all :)

*She will need to be a big thank you post too for our volunteers that helped with a last minute transport from Cumming, GA to Wellington, FL (put together in two days)!

Piper

11/25/2024

Piper was adopted by the Murray Family over the weekend. From Melissa (Foster mom): They LOVE her and Piper loves them! It was very heartwarming and I know she's going to be spoiled rotten.

**Melissa and John are also first time fosters for us. They have gone above and beyond in not only their fostering, but also their transporting for the rescue as well.

Bennett

11/25/2024

Bennett was adopted over the weekend by the Conover Family. Brianna (Foster mom) said: The handover went very well! I think he is going to do great!! His foster sister, Ginger, was very playful, so I think he's going to love her!

**Brianna was a first time foster and she NAILED IT!

Meadow

11/22/2024

Meadow is loving life with her forever family since she recently was adopted. Her mom, Emily, says, “She has settled in now and is loving her new brother Cypress (shown in the right in the pic below.). And she has taken up lizard hunting! She is such a sweet girl and loves to cuddle and play all day. She is the perfect addition to our family!” Meadow, we are so happy for you. And we are so grateful to your foster mom, Kerry, who patiently waited for your perfect forever family and helped you prepare to be the perfect family dog. Happy day all around! #happyday #gspadoption #segsprescue

Egbert has done it – he has found his forever home! His foster mom Mackenzie said, “I’m so excited for Egbert, Jennifer and Tom. From our initial conversation to meeting at the park, I knew this was the perfect match. Eggy is the sweetest boy and deserves to be living his best doggo life. I know he is going to be so spoiled and loved!” Congratulations to Egbert, Jennifer and Tom and thank you to Egbert’s foster mom for finding his forever home!

Tess has done it – she has found her perfect forever home!  Her new dad said, “She's doing great! She gets along with our other two dogs so well! She is a big cuddler and absolutely loves getting scratches from the kids. She's been going on several mile runs with dad, and mom makes sure she gets lots of walks. She's a sweetheart!”
