Cole

Recent alumnus, Cole has been busy! Thank you to foster mom, now forever mom, Susan. From Susan, “I just wanted to give an update on Cole (officially Cole Boudreaux, “Cole B’reaux”). He spent nearly 2mo with a trainer to help prep him to be a hobby hunting dog for my husband. The trainer was honest with us—he has potential but likely had some poor use of an e-collar early in life and is pretty stubborn (“Cole is hunting for himself.”). Alas, he is home just “being a dog”. We want him to understand fun, companionship, and to feel safe. We may revisit training later, but he’ll definitely get some time in the woods when the threat of snakes in N FL/ So GA is less. At home he is a masterful pointer of lizards and keeps my walking pace sub-14. My friends are glad when he joins for 0515 runs or walks because he definitely keeps us moving. He is an absolute snuggle bug, a sneaky counter surfer, and a wonderful addition to our crew (maybe a debatable point by the 9- and 10-yr old canine sisters!) Foster fail with no regrets!!” We don’t blame you for being “just a dog” Cole. It sounds like your life is pretty grand.
