Kumo

Congratulations to the Zimmerman family for their adoption of Sky, now Kumo!  They said, we’re delighted that our family can be counted among those who have foster failed. As you’ll see from the images below, Kumo is quite a happy pup. We went back and forth on names, but ended up naming him ‘Kumo,' the Japanese word for ‘cloud.’ His coat somewhat resembles a cloudy sky—nearly bare on one side of his body and haphazardly spotty on the other—so we thought the name fit him perfectly. He and our 10-year old GSP love nothing more than a good run through the park in the early morning hours, stopping to point at every object that moves. Like any velcro GSP, at the end of the day, Kumo wants nothing more than a good cuddle, plopping himself atop whatever human is in his general vicinity. Happy first ever gotcha day, Kumo!
