Rooster

Happy news to start the day… Rooster (TN) is proud as he can be.  Not only did he pass his latest heartworm test after treatment, but he also has decided that he loves his foster home so much that he’s not going anywhere.  He’s home!  And the Money family is excited to have him join their family!
 
From his new mom, “What joy Rooster brings to our home!  He's just the sweetest boy!  He wakes up and gives kisses and snuggles all night long.  He loves to run to the front door to see who's going by.  Now that he's not on exercise restriction (due to his heartworm treatment), he loves to do Pirouettes as he jumps up looking for squirrels alongside of our Dogwood Tree.  He bounds through both the front yard and the back yard like a kangaroo.  He loves his morning walks with John.  He likes to go up every set of stairs in the neighborhood to see who might be home.  He's really good at exploring retaining walls throughout the neighborhood.  Today he met his new best friends at Aretha Frankenstein’s for a small piece of bacon. He's getting better on his leash and knows exactly what it means when you put your running shoes on and goes to where his leash and harness are stored.  We had to limit the excitement of his lovees and his bone, but now that he can really play, he just LOVES to show off his bone.  In the evenings, we sit on the screened in porch and watch movies or go out back and look for more squirrels.”


Rooster, it sounds like you’re right where you’re meant to be, a member of the Money family. We are grateful to them for fostering Rooster and we are so excited to hear your happy news.  Congrats all around!
