Dakota (NC, 6 yo) foster dog news

Dakota (NC, 6 yo - Dakota Ann is what her foster mom calls her), has settled in very well at her foster home.  Her foster mom Jessica says, “She loves interacting with my other dogs.  They play nicely together.  She's really good at "correcting” my other GSP when he becomes too crazy for her lol.  She is actually pretty calm for a GSP. Dakota is extremely smart and catches on to new command words very quickly.  She also thinks she is a lap dog and she's a good couch cuddle buddy! Still no accidents in the house or crate.  Has completely stopped her anxious behavior while in the crate too.  I love her sweet little face!   We are starting her first shot for the heartworm treatments on the 5th of January.   Oh I hope everything goes well with that.”
