Emma (TN) foster dog news

Emma, our 11 year old being fostered by the Kesslers in Tennessee, is recovering well after a pretty lengthy surgery this past week. She had a large mass removed from her chest in addition to being spayed. But we received wonderful news-the test results showed the mass was benign!

There are a few other concerns the vet has with some other suspicious growths. She will recover for about a month and then will undergo surgery to remove those and they will be tested as well. Please continue to keep her in your prayers that those test results will be negative, too. And that she will do well as she continues to heal.

The other good news is that her personality is starting to show, and she has become quite the toy hoarder. You almost can’t even see her in the crate for all of the friends she has brought to join her there.
