Junie (NC) foster dog news

Junie (NC) Update! 

Someone is really settling in! Sweet Junie is growing more comfortable each day—she’s curious, has officially discovered the toy box , and one of her favorite things is doing “paws up” on the counter to help out in the kitchen. That little paw cross? Total heart-melter. 

She had her vaccines yesterday and did great with no issues! While we’re continuing her 14-day ear medication due to a bit of lingering bacteria, the vet was really pleased with how great she’s looking—and she’s gaining weight! 

Her senior blood panel showed slight anemia and a few expected markers, but nothing that raised red flags. Junie still needs heartworm treatment, but overall, she’s making amazing progress. We’re so proud of how far she’s come. 

She even got to celebrate the 4th of July with her foster siblings (aka the Parson Posse)!  From left to right on the bench: Pearl, Sofia, Mickey, Josie, Lottie, and Haines. And front and center—Junie herself.
