Phoebe (GA, 2yo) foster dog news

Phoebe (GA, 2 yo) is making progress in her foster home and with her heartworm treatment. Her foster dad Glen said, “She has learned the commands to kennel, no, sit(does better thank before). Her recall is getting better, especially when food is involved. She is starting to be more loving, will lick your hands and arms. The way she acts I think she is closer to one year old. She is still not 100% housebroken, forgets to pee when outside and then comes in and pees. Hardest GSP I have had to house train! She is clear of hookworms, yeah!!!!! She is on doxycycline now, has about 10 days left. She has really started liking treats, if Warner eats it she will try it. Likes carrots a lot.” Thank you, Glen, – you’re an awesome foster dad! Phoebe has a few more months left in rescue for her heartworm treatment before she can search for her forever home.
