Foster Dog News
2025
2/16/25 Reba (AL, 2 yo) had her second heartworm treatment yesterday and is now home with her foster family. She needs one more month of rest before she can start looking for her forever home. Reba was rescued from a very bad situation and thankfully a Good Samaritan saved her. Her foster mom Robyn said, “She loves her GSP sister Dolly. She is learning to trust humans again. She is still skittish about loud noises, men and doors. She loves walks and all the new smells. She continues to work on potty training and basic manners. She does not love her crate but will go in it. Her ringworm has healed well, and her fur has grown back.” Thank you so much Robyn and Adam for taking such wonderful care of Reba while she heals from heartworms and showing her what love is. 3/10/25 Reba (AL, 2 yo) is doing great according to her foster mom Robyn. She has had all her heartworm injections and in a few days her activity restrictions will be lifted. We cannot wait to meet the real Reba off medications and free to have fun! She has had some issues with anxiety and is quite the chewer, but we are hoping that will change when she can exercise again. Reba loves to eat and snuggle, and she also loves her foster sister, SEGSP Alum Dolly. Reba is ALMOST ready to search for her forever home so keep your eyes on our website page, Dogs Ready for Adoption at https://www.segsprescue.org/available-dogs.html #AL Comments are closed.
