Remington (FL, 1 yo, 75 lbs) foster dog news

Welcome to rescue, Remington (FL, 1 yo, 75 lbs.)!  This handsome hunk was surrendered to an Alabama shelter along with his brother, Crash. When we couldn’t find an Alabama foster home, our amazing volunteer network stretched across state lines — and Matica in Florida stepped up to foster him.

A huge thank-you to Matica, and to his transport angels Beth, Mark, and Ginny, for getting him safely to his new foster home!

Matica shared, “Remington is doing great — he’s such a sweet boy with a wonderful disposition. He’s learned his name and ‘sit,’ and he’s working on being patient for his food and treats. He’s your typical Velcro GSP and loves to be close and affectionate.”

Remington is neutered, heartworm-negative, and up to date on vaccines. At a healthy 75 lbs., he’s a big, gentle guy! Now that he’s settled in, he’ll spend the next few weeks focusing on basic training and temperament evaluation — and then, he’ll be ready for adoption.
