Rooster (TN) - Foster Dog News

Rooster (TN, 1 yo, 54 lbs.) went in earlier this month for his final injections for heartworm treatment. We’re on the final countdown now, with only about two more weeks of exercise restriction. He had a huge win at the vet this time as he has been a little timid in the past and has barked at the staff, but this time he happily went back, no barking at all, in exchange for applesauce. 🥰

He continues to make progress every single day, and his foster family says he really is wonderful. He will be retested for Heartworms at the beginning of January and then we will schedule his neuter. After that, he will make a decision about his forever family. You’re almost there, Rooster, you’ve got this!
