Lily

Our 2009 Alumna Lily has passed away and lived a very long, happy and loved life.  Before rescue, she survived being shot causing her to lose part of her tongue and a trauma cataract.  Her poor body was riddled with gunshot wounds.  Later, after finding her forever home, she overcame a mast cell tumor and a toe cancer and the following chemo and surgery.  She was a true survivor!Her family said, “Sad news, on 4/27/2025, 2010 SEGSP Rescue alumni Lily crossed the Rainbow  Bridge in the arms of her forever family. We were blessed to witness 15 years of her amazing 18 1/2 years of life, 7 of which was spent living in Japan. She was a perfect pooch and will be missed.”
