Henry

We received sad news about our Alumnus, Henry from his mom Anne Marie. Please join us in sending Henry's family our GSP community love...

“It is with great sadness that we let you know that our rescue, Henry, passed last night.

We adopted him 9 years ago when he was 2 years old. I believe he came from Mississippi and we went to Alabama to pick him up from a Vet that was fostering him. We were told that his previous owner had spent a large sum of money trying to train him to hunt. He had no interest in hunting and was given up.

Henry was just a big loverboy. The more people petting him at once the happier he was. He only pointed for tennis balls and always spotted them as we were out on our walks.

We have a 15-year-old GSP that we also rescued. He is very serious, always vigilant, and a sweetheart and it is very apparent today that Henry was the life of this party as it is very quiet without him here. He was goofball always looking for attention and ready to give some love.

The whole family was with him last night when he passed. Thank you for the work you do. GSP’s are so special.”

I didn’t just find a home. I found you… and that changed everything. Unknown
