Maggie (formerly Ingrid)

We received sad news this week… Our 2020 Alumna, Maggie (formerly named Ingrid) has passed away.  We received this note from her mom Rebecca:
 
“I’m saddened to report that Maggie Burns, class of 2020, crossed the rainbow bridge on January 4th. I had intended to send a happy update after the holidays. I knew when I saw her adoption post that we had to try to get her. She came to us after months of recovery from an infection often caused by overbreeding and a fused back leg after several surgeries. She had been dropped at a shelter to be put down. Maggie graced our family for almost five and a half years. She received lots of extra attention wherever we went because of her Mickey Mouse markings. She loved long walks and chasing any and all critters. Her injury never slowed her down. She was a true Velcro GSP, and we will miss her forever.”
