Sophie

We have a sad post today… our 2012 Alumna, Sophie (formerly Remy) has passed away. Her dad Dave sent us this message:

“I regret to inform you of the passing of Sophie (originally Remy) who we adopted from the rescue in October 2012. She was the sweetest dog despite her rough beginnings. Sophie was a typical GSP: loving, goofy, and a soft-eared maniac always at the center of chaos which we suspected but never could prove she instigated. She was the heart of our family.”

We don’t know anything about the first year of Sophie's life, but we do know the rest of it was filled with love. We extend our sympathy as well as our gratefulness to the Sarney family for rescuing Sophie and giving her an amazing life.
