AJ (NC) foster dog news

Happy Monday! We are thrilled to announce that AJ, who was originally on our courtesy page, is now in rescue thanks to his foster mom Elizabeth offering to help him. AJ was not doing well in the shelter environment… he lost so much weight because of it! He’s a small boy at 36 lbs. and is 4 years old.

AJ is very energetic, treat motivated (will train easily), loves other dogs (not cats) and is very affectionate. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, but was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and treatment is going well.

A big thank you to his foster mom Elizabeth, who is a first-time foster volunteer. We’re also excited that AJ will have a foster GSP sibling to play with.
