Birdie, also known as Ellie, is settling in beautifully with her foster family, the Hudgins family in South Carolina!

Here’s what they have to say:

“She is sweet and smart. She doesn’t pull on walks as hard as our previous GSPs, and that is great for us retired folks! We are working on potty training, counter surfing, and barking. She is currently being treated for heartworms. We love her, and the positives outweigh the negatives.”

We’re so grateful to the Hudgins family for opening their hearts and home to Birdie while she continues her heartworm treatment. Every day she’s learning, growing, and getting one step closer to finding her forever family.
