Dakota (NC, 45 lbs.) - Foster Dog News

Dakota (NC, 45 lbs.) is finished with her heartworm treatment. YAAAAY! The patches of hair are very slowly growing back and she has a few more weeks on exercise restriction and we can't wait to see her play as hard as she wants!! 
 
Her foster mom Jessica said, “She has a little problem with resource guarding with a few select toys.  I'm hoping it's just from her built up energy and as soon as she can release that maybe it'll help with me getting her through that.  Right now, she has more energy than my 2-year-old GSP and she has to hold it all in.  We're going to work through it!!”
 
Thank you, Jessica, – we know it can be hard on young dogs to not run and play! You’re doing a great job!
