Molly (TN, 7 yr old) - foster dog news

Please help us welcome sweet Molly, who came to us from a rural TN shelter after the staff reached out for help. They told us she was an absolute angel, and her foster mom, Lyndsay, is saying the very same thing.  We are so grateful to Lyndsay for opening her home to this deserving girl.

We believe Molly is around 7 yo., and it’s clear she was used for breeding for much of her life. She also came to us missing the majority of her front teeth, so we don’t know everything this sweet girl has been through. Thankfully, it doesn’t slow her down one bit when it comes to eating or enjoying treats! And according to Lyndsay, she takes those treats very gently.

What we do know is that Molly is making this whole foster thing look ridiculously easy. She is housebroken, appears to be kennel trained, sits, shakes and comes when called. She’s getting along swimmingly with both of her foster siblings, including SEGSP alum Dixie.

In fact, Lyndsay said when she started filling the food bowls, Molly ran straight to her kennel and waited for hers. Her official foster-mom review so far: “Wildly easy.”

Molly was spayed this past week and is recovering well. She’ll spend at least a couple more weeks in foster care while we get to know her before making any decisions about her forever home.

After a life that seems to have been spent having puppies for someone else, Molly deserves exactly what Lyndsay said—a break, a whole lot of love, and the chance to know what it feels like to truly be part of a family.
