Randy (TN) - Foster Dog News

Sweet Randy (TN, 2 yo) came to rescue after being turned in as a stray and, sadly, no one ever came to claim him. But this friendly boy hasn’t looked back!

Randy is neutered, heartworm negative, and doing wonderfully in foster care. He’s great with other dogs and apparently has never met a stranger — canine or human!

We are so grateful to his foster dad, Chris, who has been showing Randy the ropes and giving us a chance to learn more about this sweet boy. Chris says Randy has settled in beautifully. He gets daily walks to and from the neighborhood dog park, goes running a couple of times a week, and absolutely loves socializing with the neighborhood dogs. His favorite activity seems to be simply running around and playing with his friends.

They’re still working on some training, but Chris says overall he’s doing great: “Everybody loves him and he loves everyone the same.”

And apparently Randy’s fan club extends to the groomer, too! After his recent visit, they declared him the “happiest and healthiest dog.” We’d say that’s a great review.

Thank you so much to the Jants, the Glassmyers, the Goodsons and Randy’s foster dad, Chris, for helping with transport.

Chris, thank you so much for opening your home to Randy and giving him the time, attention and love he needed to settle in and show us who he really is. Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue getting to know this sweet boy even better as he prepares to make that very important decision about just the right forever home.
