Stelli (AL, 1 ½ yo) - foster dog news

Stelli (AL, 1 ½ yo) goes into her Vet today to receive her vaccine boosters.  A bit about Stelli from her foster dad:

Stella is a typical GSP, energetic, playful, cuddly, a Velcro, but very vocal with her desires.  She’d loved nothing more than to chase all the birds out of the neighborhood. She does best being able to run full steam for a bit and does great attached to a bike to let her run.  She constantly wants to play with her toys in the house and will let you know if you’re not quick enough throwing them.

She defers to her foster brother and is non-competitive.  She’s a little bit of a picky eater and not food motivated unless it’s a high value treat. She doesn’t counter-surf but will try if left unattended. She’s housetrained and will reluctantly go in her crate when we leave the house. She’d loved to be a lap dog. While her recall hasn’t been fully tested, she is very attached to humans and follows everywhere.  She does great with kids and every person she’s met. Doesn’t seem bothered by much except loud noises (garage door opening, bus, thunder) and will cower and try to run away.

Stelli is already spayed, microchipped and is heartworm negative, so she just needs a few more weeks in rescue for temperament evaluation.  Thank you to Denisse and Matt for fostering this pretty gal!  This is their first foster dog for SEGSP and they are doing a great job!
