Hi there humans, my name is Bell Rose and I’m currently in Alabama with my awesome foster mom Marla.

A little about me… I’m 4 years old, and I was used for quail hunting and breeding on a plantation in Alabama.  Not that I hated my puppies, but I much prefer the family life of humans.  My foster mom agrees that I’m so sweet and on my way to learning how awesome being life can be outside of a plantation.

I just LOVE people, but honestly, dogs are okay and I like them, but they just aren’t my focus… my humans are everything to me.  I ignore cats (BORING), but chickens or small animals? Pfff they are just something to chase! I don’t want to brag (well, yeah I do), I’m good with an electric collar and I even get very excited to have it on cause I know I’m about to do something fun.   I am a really good hunter and have a very high prey drive.  I wouldn’t mind hunting again but only with proper training first.

Some basics… I’m crate-trained, house-trained and healthy.  I am young and very energetic so I have a hard time calming down in the house – I prefer to be playing or hunting something.  I’m pretty strong, so I need a forever home that understands my need for exercise and will give me more training.  If I’m not worn out when coming in the house, my excitement can turn dangerous (my foster mom’s words… I think everything about me is beautiful).

Are you interested in all this beauty, intelligence and love? All you have to do is fill out the rescue’s Adoption Application, then email my foster mom Marla, at  [email protected]

And a reminder… I’m looking for a home in one of the 7 southeast states.  My foster mom said the rescue can do a transport if you aren’t near me in Alabama.

And I don’t want to forget… the rescue told me my adoption fee is $375 (SUCH A DEAL).  I can’t wait to meet you!
