Hello everyone!! I’m Hope in Alabama (AKA Wiggle Butt) and I’m a newly 3-year-old GSP! I just celebrated my birthday on April 11th with my foster family.

My foster Mom says I am the most loving, energetic doggy ever (my foster mom says I’m like the Energizer Bunny… whatever that means). I am what they call a turnkey GSP…I’m crate trained, house trained and have great recall (plus I’m super cute). I’m currently still working on my social skills and walking on a leash without making my foster mommy run to keep up! I do especially love making sure when we are in close contact that someone is touching me!!

I would love to be with a family that is home a lot…I am a people doggy. I need my yard to be fenced (preferably a big yard to run run run in), and it needs to be at least 5 feet because I can fly over the couch with no problem to get outside the back door. My foster family has a pool that looks very inviting…it’s just too cold for me to try it out yet. I don’t counter surf but love when the freezer opens and I can get an ice cube or two. It would be best if my family doesn’t have small children (definitely no kids younger than 6 years old), so I don’t knock them over when I’m happy they are back! I do have a foster doggy brother, and we made friends quickly so if you have another doggy for me to play with that would be amazing…just no cats!!  But most of all, I would like a family that will love and cuddle me A LOT (I really like that part of being rescued)!

Since I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on my shots, and on heartworm and flea preventative, plus I’m cute, my adoption fee is $375 which helps the rescue save more GSPs like me.  Hope to hear from you soon!
