Hiya folks, my name is Langston. I’m about a two year old, super handsome, GSP who got lost and then found by a super nice guy. I don’t remember much from before but have been really well cared for lately. Now my foster dad says I’m ready to find my forever home.
As I said, I’m about two years old, neutered, healthy ( I had hookworms and hadn’t eaten well when I was found) but now I know what good food is like and I love it. I have plenty of energy so a home with a nice fenced yard would be great. I do well with other dogs but not so good with cats. Like most GSPs, I love people, even if I’m a bit shy at first, I warm up really quickly and love personal contact. I’d love to find a home where someone was there most of the time, and maybe older kids to play fetch with. My foster dad says I have bird drive, I pointed on birds for him, retrieved a buck he threw, along with a dead bird. (It was awesome.) So a home where I could hunt or do field work would be great as long as I can be a family member first.
I’m looking for a home where I can do lots of exciting stuff and where I can learn new things. Dad says I’m super smart, that I’ve learned to respond to a lot of commands, and would do great with a job or task. But please, no yelling. Dad is sure I had too much of that in my early life and now it makes me cower. But I do great with positive training and praise.
So if you want a super cute, healthy, and well tempered guy I’m here. If you offer a loving home I can share with you, a fenced place for me to play, and exercise, and maybe someone (human or canine) I can spend time with, please complete the adoption application, email it to Marty who is overseeing the adoption process for me at email@example.com, and explain to him why you think we will be a great match. And remember, my adoption fee is $375.
