Hello, GSP fans! I’m Scout, a 6-month-old boy in Alabama, and I’m ready to find my forever family!

I’m sweet, intelligent, handsome (no modesty here!), and full of puppy love. My foster dad says I have energy to spare, learn super-fast, and have a wonderful temperament. What more could you ask for?

My foster dad helped me put together a list of some of the things I’ve already learned. Not to brag, but I’m off to a pretty great start!
 
* House-trained like a pro! I sleep through the night in my kennel and haven’t had any accidents.
* Doggy-door savvy! I figured that out in just a few days.
* A good listener! I know the “kennel” command and do an excellent job with “sit.”
* A natural kisser! I’ll happily give you kisses anytime. No command needed! 
* Working on my recall! I’m making great progress for such a young pup.

I’ve been well cared for my entire life (okay, that’s only six months, but still!), and I’ve had a veterinary checkup to make sure I’m happy (oh yeah!) and healthy. The good news is that I’m a very healthy boy! The one thing my new family needs to know is that I have a chicken allergy, so you’ll need to check the ingredients in my food and treats. Easy enough, right? Also, my foster dad believes I have a tiny bit of cattle dog in me... 

What Am I Looking for in My Forever Family? I have a few requests (okay, 4 requests), and I don’t think they’re asking too much!

1) Someone who appreciates puppy energy! I’m young, active, and ready to make the most of every day. If you love a fun-loving pup who keeps life interesting, we might be a perfect match!
2) Doggy siblings are high on my wish list! I thrive with a canine companion and LOVE playing with my foster siblings, Katie and Mabel. They’re awesome! I really enjoy having another dog around.
3) Cuddles are a must! I may have energy to burn, but I also have plenty of affection to share. Playtime followed by snuggle time sounds pretty perfect to me!
4) Most importantly, I want a family that will love me FOREVER. I’m counting on you to make that promise!

One last important detail… Since I’m still a puppy and haven’t been neutered yet, my adoption fee is $600. You’ll receive a $200 refund when you provide the rescue with proof that I’ve been neutered after I turn one year old. That’s a whole lot of cuteness, kisses, puppy fun, and unconditional love for your money!
