Hello, my name is Frank, aka Frankenstein, and I am oh so ready to find my forever home. I’m gonna tell ya I’m a great dog and therefore I’m looking for a great family. So I have a request…if you’re a great family please read my entire story cause it’s a great one and I don’t want you to miss anything.
I’m an energetic, very smart, 3 year old boy. I was found as a stray and taken into rescue from the animal shelter in Tallahassee and boy am I glad I found SEGSP, especially my awesome foster Mom! She said I was a wild child when she picked me up, but she’s a great trainer and has really taught me a lot, so I’m now able to find my home because of her.
My foster Mom says I’m a super neutral dog that has very high energy and LOVES to play with other dogs of all sizes. Not sure what “neutral” means but hey, go with it. I’m also snuggly with people and I love to lay my head on your lap. Yeah, I know – it’s cute.
I’ve been working super hard with my training (did I say how awesome my foster Mom is?) and she’s taught me all sorts of great house manners, I’m crate trained and I know a lot of basic commands now. I was never walked on a leash before, so leash manners have been a work in progress, but I’m doing better cause I know when the leash comes out something fun is about to happen. Given my high intelligence, I will be a quick learner if you just give me the opportunity. I love training – it’s fun and keeps my mind active, so I’d love a family that continues teaching me new things.
I LOVE being outside cause that’s what I was used to in my previous life. However, If I’m bored I may get into trouble and try to find some fun…so I would like a home with a large yard to run in and an electric fence so I can see what’s on the other side and not worry I’m missing anything.
Due to my high energy, I also need a home with at least one other high energy dog. That’s key to my settling down at night – LOTS of exercise! And let’s face it, you can’t run fast enough or far enough to wear me out! I haven’t met cats or livestock yet so….
I was recently neutered (yeah, I know right) and I’m healthy but I’m allergic to something at my foster Mom’s house (it might have been her other foster dog LOL). My foster Mom is working to control those while I’m at her house but she says moving to a different place will probably take care of that.
If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application and contact my foster mom Alicia.
Oh Yeah…my adoption fee is $375 since I’m fully vetted, neutered and temperament tested (and super cute). Most of that money goes to help the other pups in rescue with health issues, which is cool.
