Maggie (FL)

Meet Little Maggie! Maggie is an adorable GSP estimated to be about 4 years old, and she has quickly stolen the hearts of her foster family. This sweet girl loves to sleep in, burrow under blankets, and be your ultimate Velcro companion. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be right by your side, Maggie may be your girl!

Maggie has been showing her foster family more of her wonderful personality every day, and she's been great with her foster canine sisters. She occasionally gets a case of the zoomies and enjoys going on outings, but her favorite place is definitely a comfy couch or bed where she can be tucked in and cozy. For a GSP, she's remarkably calm and loves relaxing with her people.

She's also a smart girl who is eager to please and learn. Maggie is working on her basic commands, walking nicely on a leash without pulling, and learning to better manage resource guarding when it comes to extra-special treats. She has already come such a long way in foster care, and her progress shows just how smart and willing to learn she is!

Maggie does well with other dogs and even sheep. Her prey drive isn't particularly strong, she does have GSP instincts and at times can be a bit too interested in cats or other small farm animals. She also can be a bit concerned about small children, so older children would be better for her.

Maggie is looking for someone who will continue building on all the progress she's made and, be her person to hang out with and snuggle under a blanket.
