Murphy - FL

Hi there! My name is Murphy — yes, Murphy — and I’m a smart, sweet, goofy 5 year old boy looking for my forever family. I’ve had quite an adventure lately, but I’m settling in beautifully with my foster family and learning so much every day.
When I arrived, I quickly made friends with their other dog… who is also named Murphy. We think it’s hilarious. I love every person I meet, and my foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest boys she’s ever had. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always excited to be part of whatever the humans are doing.
I’ve met chickens, too! They’re very interesting creatures. I don’t bother them, but I do enjoy running laps around their coop — I’ve created a whole racetrack out there. It’s my personal NASCAR circuit. I also live with two cats. One I’m totally fine with, but the other… well, I think she’s fascinating. Because of that, I might do best in a home without cats, or with very careful introductions.
I’m a smart guy and I’m learning quickly. I know “sit” and “down,” and I’m working on my manners. I walk better with an Easy Walk harness, though I still get excited and pull sometimes. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and I sleep great in my kennel. I love toys — especially stuffies — and I’m proud to say I don’t destroy them. Fetch isn’t really my thing, but carrying around a plush toy? Absolutely.
I’m not a digger, but I am a trash picker, so I’ll need a home that keeps tempting snacks out of reach. I just love exploring! My foster mom says I’m a really good boy who tries hard and learns fast.
I’m active, loving, silly, and smart — the perfect GSP mix. I would love a home with space to run, people to adore, and maybe another dog friend to play with. I’ve come a long way, and I’m ready for the next chapter with a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them.
If you think you are my family, please contact my foster Mom Kerry [email protected] and fill out an adoption application if you have not done already.
My adoption fee is $375.00 I am microchipped UTD on my vaccinations and neutered.
Thank you.
