ADOPTION PENDING

Hello possible future forever family, my name is Ziva. It’s a unique name, just like me.  I’m about 4 years old, love other dogs and love people, especially my foster parents, and I’m currently in St Augustine, FL.

I have the temperament of a Saint (my foster parent’s quote), which means I’m very loving (sometimes too much I’m told) and tolerant. But even with my sweet temperament and love of children, I would like a family with a little-bigger-children (over 6 years old works) so that I don’t accidentally knock them over when I get excited. At limes I have a very calm demeanor, however, being a typical young GSP I have spontaneous bursts of energy! I love having the zoomies!
I don’t particularly like being crated. I show my displeasure by being very reluctant to go in and speak my mind when I’m in one. However I do eventually calm down when I realize you’re not falling for my tantrum.  I have however, worn down my foster parents on the “no furniture” rule LOL!  And I love beating my foster dad to the recliner after coming back inside the house. Oh, and I’m quite proud that I even convinced them to let me sleep in bed with them. I’m not planning to give that up with a new family!

I’m still being house trained and it is going very well but in a new environment you’ll probably have to remind me (and be patient).  I’m also cuddle-trained, toy-trained and am a typical Velcro, adorable GSP.  Did I say I love car rides and don’t mind the safety harness – it’s fun to watch the world go by on my way to somewhere fun.

I’m looking for a family that has a fenced back yard for me to play in, exercise in, and chase lizards and squirrels in, without accidentally wandering off and getting lost.  Nope, I want to be safe and sound in my own backyard.  My perfect forever family will include me in adventures, teach me new tricks, play with me, feed me (one of my favorite things) and keep me safe and healthy.

If you think you’re the right family for me, please complete an adoption application (if you haven’t already).

P.S. I’m a healthy, spayed, temperament tested (and adorable) GSP so my adoption fee is $375
