Meet Dottie in Georgia!
Dottie is presently in Georgia and came into rescue after being found with a
nonlife threatening wound to the chest/neck area. After being nursed back to
health with one rescue group, she came into SE GSP rescue and has been in
foster care while she underwent heartworm treatment.
She is around 5 years old and a pure joy to be around. She is your instant best friend and always has a smile on her face. Either Dottie has learned about squirrels and birds from her foster sibling, Winston, or maybe she just finally got her energy back enough to be interested in them. She likes to sit by the window and watch them in the mornings and when given the opportunity, she runs with
Winston to try and catch them.
She has never, ever shown any sort of aggression. While she's never been tested with cats, small children are totally fine as are all other dogs she's encountered.
She adores her crate and is often found hanging out in there even when it's not necessary. She will spend hours on a bone or antler ear.
She's a real doll and is ready to find her furever home. If you are interested in adopting Dottie, fill out an adoption application and if you haven't already,
email her foster Mom, Kim, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Dottie is an adult GSP that has been neutered, vaccinated and temperament tested. Her adoption fee is $375.
