Harper (MS) is 6-8 years old, a sweetheart and has never met a stranger. Little is known of Harper's life story; however, she was a stray at a shelter near Montgomery AL and has probably had several litters of pups. She came to rescue extremely thin but has filled out nicely.
Harper is petite for a GSP, weighing about 42 pounds and is in good physical health. She did have a couple tumors successfully removed and is now flourishing in rescue. She is heartworm negative, spayed and has had all her vaccinations. Harper comes when called, is house-trained, crate-trained and would love a family that will give her more training challenges. She loves to play with her foster sister, a high energy 2yro GSP and she is not intimidated by her playmate. Harper gets along well with everybody she meets, both human and canine (she has not met a cat yet). She loves to have her picture taken and is an expert at posing (she knows how beautiful she is). Harper needs a home with at least a 6 foot tall, fenced yard (she can climb a 4 ft chain link fence) where she can run and play safely (without distractions on the other side), preferably with a canine sibling. But most importantly, she wants a family that will include her in activities and will love her forever. If you’re interested in adopting Harper, please complete an adoption application (if you haven’t already) then email her foster dad Art (artminton@yahoo.com) and let him know why you would be the perfect family for Harper. P.S. Harper’s adoption fee is $375 (we think quite a bargain for this beautiful gal). Comments are closed.
