ADOPTION PENDING!!

Picture
Hi All, My name is Chester. It’s a distinguished, handsome name, just like me. They call me a senior, but really that just means I’m an experienced GSP. That means, no crazy puppy energy, I don’t eat your shoes, knock you down or do any of those annoying things you have to deal with when you adopt a young GSP. Lots of pluses to adopting me like, well, I’m handsome – that’s a given.

I’m laid-back but can gear up at a moment’s notice if you want to play. I love the outdoors and all its entertainment for country boys like me…squishy green things they call lizards, furry grey things that love to tease me, bushes and trees to smell, soft grass to lounge on – what’s not to like?! I do love to cuddle in the evenings and sleep on a soft bed, but boy do I love being outside during the day.

I’d love a family that can be outside with me so I can show off when I catch something. I’m what they call e-collar-trained, but I also have excellent recall just with my name! I mean, duh, it’s my name (and a really good one at that) so why wouldn’t I come when you say my name? Also, I do love my humans so I want to please you. In the evenings, there’s nothing I like better than to snuggle – something I never experienced in my prior life. Just love that stuff! And I’ll admit, I love snuggling so much I try to sit in your lap and get as close to you as I can (my Foster Mom calls me a lap dog).

In regards to others of the canine variety, I’m good with them. But I’m not much for horsing around, so I would probably do best with another senior or laid-back dog or as your only dog is fine too (more love for me). Cats are probably not a good idea – they’re even more fun than the grey furry things in the yard. I want to make sure my future family knows that even though I have what they call senior status, I’m still very energetic, alert, and ready for adventure! So please take me with you - I love car rides, and I may try to stow away sometimes when groceries are being unloaded so I don’t miss the next trip!

If you’re interested in adopting a good-looking, mature, smart, cuddly GSP…I’m your guy! Just complete an adoption application (if you haven’t already) and email my awesome foster mom Beth at Beth.a.garland@gmail.com

Since I’m an older gentleman, I come with a discount…my adoption fee is only $187.50. And I’m neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, smart, handsome, temperament tested, on and on and on…WHAT A DEAL!
