If you’re ready to hit the GSP jackpot, then Daisy is the girl for you! Well mannered? Yes. Dog friendly? Yes. Cat friendly? Yes. Sweeter than you can imagine? Yes, yes, and yes.
At approximately 8 years old, Daisy is a dream. She’s a petite girl of 45 pounds, although she will slim down a bit once her heartworm-mandated exercise restrictions are lifted. Throughout her treatment, she’s taken lounging to an entirely new level, and she loves to cuddle and be petted. She walks well on a leash – although she’d love nothing more than to give the sandpipers and seagulls a run for their money when we are out on the beach.
She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, but she’s a very sensitive girl who will curl up at your feet if you raise your voice. She isn’t a fan of the vacuum, the broom, or thunderstorms. She’s never met a stranger and will shamelessly ‘encourage’ pets with her dainty paws and soulful eyes. She has a healthy appetite and will take treats (even if disguising pills) ever-so-gently. She kennels when you ask and rides perfectly in the car. She’s shown no interest in toys, but did I mention she loves to be loved on? I mean Olympic-level loving…
She has the most adorable habit of quietly chattering her teeth when she’s trying to get your attention or waiting for her morning eggs, and with her natural tail, there is no hiding how she feels about people.
Between our local leash laws and her exercise restrictions, she hasn’t been off leash much, but she will potty outside and make a beeline to get back in the house (to get her favorite spot on the couch for more pets and cuddles!). I suspect she’d quickly take to recall if it meant more love from her people.
Daisy will melt your heart. She will keep you active with a brisk daily walk or two and reduce your screen time because you’ll be busy snuggling with her. She is ready for her forever home but no kids under the age of six please! Don’t let her slip away!
Daisy is a happy, healthy girl who is UTD on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed so her adoption fee is $375. If you haven’t already, please fill out an adoption application
