Hi I'm Diesel!
Hi! Diesel here! I’m a year old pup and a big, handsome, lovable guy. I’m about 65lbs of solid muscle. You should see my paws! They are huge, but my heart is even bigger.
Even though I’m pretty big, I can be a lil’ stinker. I’m a puppy after all! The sweetest, goofiest and social puppy- you will fall in love with me, you just wait and see. But because I’m a puppy, I need someone who will be patient with me and invest in my training.
My foster mama says I’m a really good boy with a lot of potential and I’m going to make someone the perfect companion. I do need more training, but I am making so much progress! I aim to please. I am housebroken, have been taught to sit, lay down and shake. I am known to take a bribe or two, so keep those treats stocked and ready because if food is involved I will do whatever you say! I looooove my food and yours too if you’re not watching. Remember, lil’ stinker? I’ve been working on winning over my foster sister, but she’s a stubborn one and not nearly as fun as I am. I just want to play and chase her around the yard. I don’t know why she’s always annoyed at my playfulness and energy. Doesn’t she know I’m always ready to play?!
Ok so, here’s what ya need to know about me.
Being that I’m a big, social guy- I need a fenced in yard, and not any little fence. Those are fun to climb. I haven’t succeeded in jumping over yet because my foster moms always watching me. But I just want to say hi to alllll the neighbors.
I like my food but can get possessive of it, so it’s best to feed me alone, but I’m improving in that area each day.
I love car rides, but don’t call my name while driving. I may just try to sit on your lap and help you steer. My foster family tried to introduce me to this awful thing called “The Crate”. Oh my goodness, what are they thinking! I don’t want to be in that thing. I want to be with my people!!! The crate and I are not friends. My foster mom has tried for weeks to have me sleep in one of those things, but I won. I’ve taken over the bed and I let her sleep in it with me. She keeps telling me it’s her bed, but she’s crazy to think that.
My foster family thinks I’m a little demanding in picking my forever home, but I AM worth it and deserve the very best. I would love nothing more than an active family who will continue to teach me good doggie manners, someone who will love me as much as I love them, someone who loves my company. I will be your shadow and plop down on you to cuddle with at a moment’s notice. I love nothing more than a good cuddle. I will follow you into every room in the house and show you affection. I would love a fur friend, but this time a fellow dog with a bit more pep in his/her step. No more boring dogs- I want to bounce around and be chased and wrestled with. Oh and I LOVE children, but my foster mom says definitely children 10 and up since I do tend to get a little (ok a lot) excited when playing with kids. I adore my human foster brother like crazy, but can get carried away, but that’s only because I’m super excited to see him. Yep, I want little humans in my life and a dog. Not sure about a cat though. Oh and I must sleep in your bed. You can try to crate train me, but you won’t get any sleep. Just give up now and let me curl up next to you.
If you are interested in being my forever, please fill out an adoption application on our website and e-mail my foster mama at email@example.com. My adoption fee is $375-quite a deal for all my cuteness, and did I mention I am UTD on all my vaccines, neutered and microchipped?! Can’t wait to meet you.
