Dixie is a calm, easygoing girl who enjoys the simple things in life:
 Finding the comfiest place to nap
 Following her favorite person from room to room
 Going for leisurely walks
 Riding quietly in the car
 Spending time with her family

She is:
 Kennel trained
 Doing great with her house training
 Walks nicely on a leash
 Wonderful in the car
 Great with other dogs
 Good with children
Cats are an unknown, as she has not been around them.

Dixie had a difficult start in life, so she can still be startled by sudden noises, quick movements, thunderstorms, and other loud activity. Thanks to the love and patience of her foster family, she has made incredible progress and continues to gain confidence every day. She will thrive with a family that understands she may need a little extra reassurance as she continues to blossom.
