Rocky (aka Dobby) - NC

​Hi peeps, my name is Rocky aka Dobby and I’m a little over two years old.  I am so ready to find my forever home. Don’t get me wrong I love my foster mom and my foster siblings but I’m ready to have a place to call mine. I’m young and full of energy but not the kind that comes with bad behavior because I’m a good boy. I’m kennel trained, house trained, can be left out in the house, good on a leash and I love all animals if they will play with me. I would love to find a home with a human that likes water sports and frisbee, I’m extremely athletic and would make an amazing frisbee dog but unfortunately my foster mom couldn’t throw a frisbee if her life depended on it. I’m a high-flying beast that will chase, catch, retrieve and pretty much anything else you want to do. I am on a tiny dose of medicine for EIC which is exercised induced collapse, but I haven’t had any episodes since I started my medicine, and the weird thing is fetch is summer is the only time I’m at risk for an episode. The cardiologist says I have no restrictions in my activity level, but I will need a family who can take me to the cardiologist twice a year and keep me on my medication. Playing with other dogs, tug on the tether ball and dock diving where my body cools off doesn’t cause me any problems only fetch with a ball in the yard during the summer. Other than that, I’m a perfectly healthy athletic boy. I also love snuggles at night and watching tv with my humans. I’m very good at occupying myself with my toys when I need to but would rather my human throw things for me. I love walks, hiking and swimming. I still need work on my recall so a fenced in yard or leash walks are a must for me until you get me comfortable and trained at your home. I’m always happy and smiling and my foster mom says my eyes melt her soul when I give her my puppy dog look. 

I have been very well vetted, brought UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped so my adoption fee is $375.
