Forge is a 9-year-old, 60 lb German Shorthaired Pointer looking for a loving forever home. Don’t let his age fool you, this handsome boy still has plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and all the love you can give!

Forge is house-trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines. He’s a smart pup who knows many commands like sit, stay, and roll over. He’s friendly with kids, dogs, cats, and even farm animals, truly an easygoing, well-rounded companion.

He’s currently being treated for a minor ear infection, but is otherwise in excellent health. The only thing Forge doesn’t love is loud noises, but with reassurance and a calm home, he does just fine.

Forge would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of love, exercise, and companionship. Whether it’s long walks, games of fetch, or simply relaxing by your side, he’ll be happiest as part of your family.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who will bring joy and love to your life, Forge is your guy!

Beau is a 1-year-old male GSP who is current on vaccinations and heartworm-negative.

Beau is an energetic, loving, and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. He’s a happy, social dog who gets along great with kids and other dogs, and he’s a favorite at doggy daycare.

Beau is house-trained and crate-trained, and he knows his basic commands like sit and lie down. He’s still working on recall, especially when he’s excited, but he’s smart and food-motivated, which makes him a quick learner with consistent training.

Like most GSPs, Beau has a high energy level and needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Even long walks aren’t always enough; he thrives with opportunities to run, play, and explore. When under-exercised or bored, he may chew on things to entertain himself, so an active home with regular physical and mental activity is ideal.

Beau does best in a home with a fenced yard or someone committed to daily exercise. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, but sometimes forgets his size when playing with kids.

Tilly is a 3-year-old spayed female who's up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm-negative.

Till is a playful, goofy, and loving dog. She is anxious and guarded towards strangers, especially men, but once she gets to know you, she is extremely affectionate. She is the kind of dog who needs time to feel safe, but once she does, her personality comes through, and she is an entirely different dog. She is very intelligent and loves apples and unsalted French fries. She is happiest outdoors, lying in the sun, but is very content to nap all day under the covers. Her past trauma shows up in fear-based reactions, with men and noise. She really wants to trust and connect. Her biggest quirk is what I call “Tilly Tumbles.” She likes to somersault into your lap. She also loves to pick up sticks and carry them with her on walks.

Tilly gets along with other dogs, but is fearful around kids and will chase cats/other small animals. Unsure of how she would react towards farm animals.

Tilly is anxious and fearful around new people—especially men. She does really well if ignored and has the opportunity to warm up to someone on her own, but cannot handle large crowds or noisy areas. She is not aggressive but afraid due to her past, and when she feels safe, she opens up very affectionately. Garbage trucks or buses also make her anxiety and fear go up. I am not sure about food or toy aggression because she is the only dog in the home. I can take her toys and food, but I'm not sure how she would react to another dog.

She has seen two professional trainers, she is house and crate-trained, has excellent off-leash recall, and knows all basic commands, including some tricks like spin.

Tilly would do best in a quiet, rural, or suburban setting. Somewhere, she can exist without the constant stress of the city. A fenced-in yard or some land where she can explore freely would be perfect for her since she is excellent with recall. Her ideal owner would be active, enjoy long walks or hikes, and be able to give her the physical stimulation she needs. Most importantly, they need to be patient and experienced with anxious or traumatized dogs. Someone who understands her barking and initial fear is not aggression, but fear-based. A single adult or couple without children would be best, with another dog that Tilly can interact with and be buddies with. Experience with high-energy dogs would be best. Tilly is pretty lazy for a GSP, but loves having a job. Tilly really needs a quiet, patient, and long-term home. Someone willing to consistently work with her and understand that the shy and anxious dog is really goofy and loving.

Tilly was born in the shelter, adopted, abused, and then dropped back off at the same shelter. When I initially rescued her, she was a shell of herself. She has been with two professional trainers and is currently on anxiety medication. Before I moved to the city, we had made a lot of progress, and she really opened up and was doing really well with meeting new people and trusting again. Since moving to the city, she has regressed to the point where I am not enough. She does not do well in high-traffic and high-noise areas.
