​Beau is a 1-year-old male GSP who is current on vaccinations and heartworm-negative. 


Beau is an energetic, loving, and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. He’s a happy, social dog who gets along great with kids and other dogs, and he’s a favorite at doggy daycare.

Beau is house-trained and crate-trained, and he knows his basic commands like sit and lie down. He’s still working on recall, especially when he’s excited, but he’s smart and food-motivated, which makes him a quick learner with consistent training.

Like most GSPs, Beau has a high energy level and needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Even long walks aren’t always enough; he thrives with opportunities to run, play, and explore. When under-exercised or bored, he may chew on things to entertain himself, so an active home with regular physical and mental activity is ideal.

Beau does best in a home with a fenced yard or someone committed to daily exercise. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, but sometimes forgets his size when playing with kids.
