Phoenix – 5-Year-Old German Shorthaired Pointer Looking for the Right Home
Phoenix is a 5-year-old neutered male German Shorthaired Pointer weighing approximately 45 lbs. He is a very sweet, energetic, and playful dog who absolutely loves people and outdoor activities. He thrives in an active environment where he can run, explore, and stay busy.
Phoenix would do best in a home with:
• A securely fenced yard
• Plenty of exercise and outdoor time
• No other dogs or small/farm animals
• Adults or experienced dog owners familiar with high-energy hunting breeds

He is:
✔ Neutered
✔ Heartworm negative
✔ Current on vaccinations
✔ Crate trained
✔ Great with adults
✔ Loves fetch and outdoor play

Behavior Notes:
Phoenix has developed dog aggression toward our senior male GSP, which is the reason we are seeking a new home for him. He has no bite history and has always been good with people, food, toys, and handling. He does have a high prey drive due to his hunting background. His compatibility with children and cats is unknown.

Training:
Phoenix is crate trained and has good recall unless he catches a scent, so he should only be off leash in secure areas.

Please contact Samantha at 386-747-5722 if you think you may be the right fit for Phoenix.

A rehoming fee will apply to help ensure Phoenix finds a safe and committed forever home.
